It's not always winter and snow here !

Here is a look from my sunroom to my new garden of cosmos, blazing stars, sunflowers and many other wildflowers.

This is another look from my sunroom.  I decided I wanted a water garden so just past these flowers is my water garden.  The old hand pump has water flowing from it to a stream that flows to a small pond.  The fence (seen better in photo above) and bench were made from branches that came down in an ice storm.  We decided to make the area in front of the sunroom a defined "outdoor room" and the branches worked great for a fence.

This is looking north at the new arbor.  I will be planting hops this spring (1999) to climb up the arbor.  It has been fun designing and building our "garden areas".  There was nothing here when we bought our farmstead in 1995.
