Welcome to our site. This portion is under construction, and will be added to as I get pics. For now, enjoy the photos. I do repairs on all makes and scales of railroad equipment. Engines, accessories and transformers. I do electrical trouble shooting, and standard electrical control designs.
These photos are of my small home layout in HO scale built 1979-83. It was wired in blocks, with 3 main lines, several branches and sideings, and could run 6 trains at once if I didn't get confused. Photos of it won several awards.

Here are photos of a 22' HO layout I designed and built for McGiffin's Hobbies and Grand Cities Mall. It has 2 main lines with a loop for continuous running, and several sidings for action. It is wired in blocks for control.

Here are pics of my new home layout started in 2005. It's 7'x22' dogbone with several elevations. Steepest grade is 3.3% and curve min. is 19" on spurs, 28" on mains. It's a rich railroad - 3 breweries, gold mine, diamond factory, coal mine, marble quarry, and lumber shipments. There are two removable modules - the upper left is the coal mine and town outskirts, the upper right is a lumber, yard, depot area. The main yard is also removable. There are a few liftouts for maintenance - one under Miskitonic U., one under/with the large concrete retaining walls, and one under the main lower town. The control panels were made with 2-layer plastic at a trophy house. Many pics are to follow.

TIPS
If you need ball bearings for early HO Rivarossi motors, get them from Skilcraft
ballpoint pens. Cut the brass cone behind the ball with wire cutters. Look for
the .039" balls.
Use ONLY plastic compatible oil and grease on any equipment.
ITEMS
28 Rivarossi locos 0-8-0's to 2-8-8-2's all tuned, lubed and
test run. Some may have bell or step missing. Enquire.
